I got Larissa and Carmen last year and they both took off. I made sure to plant them in different planters due to space and since i ordered them months apart. My only problem is they both look alike. I think they're the same plant (Larissa). What do you think about the two?

@plantmanager,

I only became more curious about it after doing a trade with joanhil1, I didn't request Carmen since I already had it but she sent it along with a few other bonuses. When I looked at it, even though it was smaller, it looks nothing like either of mine. I went back and looked at Young's and there is no stock photo of it even though they are selling it. I went back and looked at my email and I did order 2 quantities of it (Carmen) last April. I even looked up the 2 semps in the database and I think the two of them do look more like Larissa and nothing like Carmen at all.

Chad, here is what 'Carmen' looks like.
Hen and Chicks (Sempervivum 'Carmen')

It does appear to be another 'Larissa'.
Keep comparing them in the next few months. Be sure they are growing in the same lighting.

Chad - I think you are right that they are Larissa, even if not Larissa - it is also NOT Carmen, which is green most of the year with red tips in late winter early spring - then in heat, back to green (at least that is how mine looks)
I tip my hat to you.

I don't have Larissa but I do have Carmen. This is what my Carmen looks like.

Wow I must have an especially green type because I don't remember it getting anything other than red tips like in Lynn's first photo and greenish yellow like in Melissa's last pic. I'd love it if it got the reddish tones of the other photos! (I mean I still like it, but it is a little boring) Hilarious!
I tip my hat to you.
