I only know them as 'Bear Berries' so I Googled. Big Grin Scientific name of the plant "Arctostaphylos" means "bunch of bear's grape" in Greek language. Uva-ursi is another name of the plant with the same meaning (bear's grape in Latin language). http://www.softschools.com/fac...
