Planning to try some amaranthus seeds this spring. I like both varieties and the Molten Fire appears to be a shorter plant than Perfecta - but I like both colors. Has anyone tried either one and if so would appreciate your comments?

Hello, I have more difficulty to grow them from the seed than the other 'classic' amaranthus, but they look good enough in the garden. You should try ;)

I think I knew them by other names. Hilarious! But, yes, I grew red, yellow, and multicolor ones. They were outstanding but didn't last long in an especially hot summer.
