I forgot to ask; if I find something like that do I have to bother y'all DB administrators or is that a field I could have changed?

edited to say: I don't like changing data that someone else has entered but in the case of symbols, I wouldn't ming.

You can propose the edit yourself, but you should copy and paste the part with the symbol before you start editing because it won't show up on the edit screen.

If you find that an entire genus or species has odd characters in some field, let me know. There are easier ways of doing it than editing every entry one by one.

Thanks so much for your help. I'll probably just report here if I see them again and let one of y'all handle it so that I don't make things worse. Green Grin!

The question mark turned out to be in every Nicotiana entry, so I fixed it with a mass proposal.
