Thread OP

Hello all, first post...I just bought this Angel Trumpet and planted it inside an old hollow tree trunk about 10 days ago. Is this going to work? Going to get sun from about 10am to 4pm, in zone 8

You didn't say where you are & haven't filled out any info that usually post in the top right corner.
I think it will do fine as long as it gets regular watering. Mine grow in the ground in full sun with lots of mulch & will faint as a plea for water. Here in zone 9, south Louisiana, we've had regular afternoon rain off & on Spring into Summer this year & mine are 7'. They are versa-color peach. You will have to protect it when frost & freezes come as they will die back & return from roots in Spring. I throw an old sheet around mine & they die back about 1/2 but I've never had them die completely & not return. I hope this helped in some way. Enjoy their wonderful fragrance nodding Trudy
