They really do look like plastic; great shot of those unusual but pretty blooms!

Thanks! Those things bloom like crazy in the conservatory. I was amazed I could get the shot since the plants are typically way over my head. I was lucky these were just slightly taller than me!

I never look at their blog (never even knew they had one!) but I'll be sure to check it out on a regular basis now.

Agreed, they do look like plastic, I thought I was looking at perm rods when I first saw the picture.

Good one! The interesting thing is they say the fruit is edible but it looks very waxy. I can't imagine anyone eating them!
