Oh! So many wonderful prizes again! Wow, what a great job you're doing @dave!

I love the NARR and have won twice since joining. It's such a wonderful feeling! And the anticipation is always fun too, even if you don't win something!

So the NARR is one of my favorite things here, and the other is the Ideas Forum!

As such, I'm offering 20 acorns to each of the next three people to post a new idea to the Ideas Forum. It has to be new to that forum, and it has to be your original idea (no posting links to someone else's idea on the Internet). When you've posted there, please come back here and reply to this so that I'll know and can send you your acorns. Here's the link:
https://garden.org/forums/view...

Just as a reminder, your idea can be as short as one sentence, or as long as you like. It can include pictures or not--totally up to you!

Can't wait to see those ideas Lovey dubby

I absolutely love the generosity of our NGA members on this website. @JoannaKat , thank you so much for hosting this ideas-for-acorns giveaway! It's a great idea, and it makes us earn our acorns a little bit, too, LoL!

I submitted an idea, but I don't know if it qualifies because I just thought of it this morning after making scrambled eggs (and throwing away the old eggs we didn't use) and haven't tried it out myself yet: The thread "Another Egg Carton Idea" in Gardening Ideas forum

What a great idea! I've tried using egg cartons for seed starting but they didn't break down quickly enough for the little seeds to root through them. I've also wondered how to use larger pots as you described, but never really came up with a good idea! This is excellent! You got your acorns! Hurray!

Thank you so much for the acorns. And yes, unfortunately I do grow a lot of weeds. I haven't watered my lawn in years because of the drought, but the weeds always manage with or without water. My brother or my nephew come by when they can and mow them down for me, but not necessarily often enough to keep them under control. But their help is greatly appreciated!!!

Thank you again for the acorns Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!

You're good Mindi! Yes, it is so exciting! I've won gorgeous things twice and actually just received the roses I won in last year's NARR. They're beautiful. I'll post pictures at some point.

Do you have enough acorns to buy some tickets?
