I need some help. The dh wants a hand held game device - he's 70 - and wants to play "simple old games"; you know, like shoot the ducks, or WWII tanks shooting each other or a plane dropping bombs, cars racing - stuff like that. He does not want this fantasy future world, otherworld, strange made up beasts or hybrid humans stuff. He does not want to play with or against other people. Remember he's a man with man hands & 70 yr old eyesight so the size of the screen matters & the buttons involved matter. I have tried to figure this stuff out but not much of it makes sense to me. He doesn't want to play things like solitaire or candy crush.

I'm no help since all I play is Sudoku on my phone. I'm bumping this up hoping someone will have an answer for you.

Aw gee, thanks Karen! I should have posted here yesterday but was very busy & didn't think of it.

I no longer need the question answered. We deiced to get an RCA 11.5" Android OS tablet. Large enough for him to see well enough and plenty of game choices to choose from plus he's learning to operate a computer Hilarious! . About time right?!

I remember I avoided them for years despite my husband bugging me about it. When I finally decided to try it, then he regretted it because I spent too much time online! I hadn't known how much I was missing. Rolling on the floor laughing
