I bought this as Siloam Little Girl. It obviously is not that. The color is all wrong for both the petals and eye. The bloom is under 3 inches and is a pale peach with a rose eye. The bud count is about 10. I've tried looking in the database at the registered Siloams but couldn't find a match. But that may be because the colors are a bit off in the pictures. It definitely has the Siloam look though! So now I'm hoping someone will recognize it. I don't have any scape height information yet but if I remember correctly they mostly bloom above the foliage.

This picture shows the true color in my yard. Colors tend to be paler in NY as compared to when I lived in NC.

Any help would be appreciated!

Any chance it can be this? I have it in my garden and the first bloom was lighter like your picture.

The nearest I've grown is 'Siloam Cinderella'. The base colour looks close but not so sure about the eye

Here is another one to check out. There seems to be a lot of variability in the photos.

Searching the AHS Database for Siloam brings up 474 registrations, so it's probably going to be difficult to figure it out with certainty.

Thanks everyone! I'm thinking it may be Ethel Smith. I wasn't sure because a lot of the photos for SES look yellowish. I'm pretty sure it is a common one (don't ask me why I think that except that I vaguely recall the place I got it from only had common Siloam cultivars). It is starting to scape now so I'll be able to compare scape heights soon. The size of the flower is similar (I typically get slightly smaller flowers than registered also).

Frillylily, so far for the vast majority of daylilies I've purchased the bud count hasn't come anywhere close to what they were registered. My mystery plant is planted near a growing pine tree in full afternoon sun and only watering when I remember. Not ideal conditions but better than a lot of spots in my garden. So if I get 10 buds/scape on any cultivar I'm happy. It typically sends up a lot of scapes so most days there are multiple flowers in bloom and it blooms for almost a month if I'm remembering correctly.

Wee, i was going to suggest S. Virginia Henson, but I have a lot of trouble with the Siloams, I have a couple that look very similar to each other.

I have Siloam Virginia Henson. It blooms late for me whereas my NOID blooms early. My SVH also looks like a near-white and has a larger flower.

I once saw Siloam Ethel Smith for sale at Walmart, so I think it is widely available.

Mine looks more like the light one at the end of the photos.

Ooh that one is pretty! But I'm confident now it's Siloam Ethel Smith. Everything fits. It hasn't started blooming yet. When it does I'll post the stats from this year.
