Would it be possible to link emoji definitions to their symbols in posted messages so that reader could click on the symbol to understand its meaning?

If not feasible, how about a link to an emoji dictionary for the symbols used by NGA members?

Examples of emoji mysteries (to me):
Group hug Glare Sticking tongue out *Blush* Drooling I tip my hat to you. I'm all ears! Blinking Crying Grumbling Sad D'Oh! Lovey dubby Rolling on the floor laughing Whistling Angel nodding Green Grin! Big Grin

If you hover over the emoji's at the bottom of the page, it tells what each one represents.

There is no hovering on an iPad, which is what I use. Even in composing my original message, when I saw the terms, e.g., Rolling on the floor laughing (rofl, whatever that is), associated with the emojis, I am mystified.

Thanks very much, Sue, especially for this one: Rolling on the floor laughing It always looked to me like someone preparing to throw baseball. Interpretation often mystifies me.

I don't care for emojis. At all. But accept that they are now a part of the world.
I want to live in a world where the chicken can cross the road without its motives being questioned.
