As a rule, sempervivums are tough little plants that can put up with a lot of abuse before they’re overwhelmed. Not many plants are as resilient as these guys, yet even they face some dangers.
I am having a problem with my hens and chicks. I noticed they were dying so I dug them up and they have white worms. The roots of my plants are rotten I still have some left and need to know how to save what I have left!! I have grown them for years and have never had a problem.
Sorry to hear about the worms in your sempervivum roots. I have a few questions for you. Are they planted in containers or in the ground? Do you know what the worms are? Where do you live?
