Thread OP

I bought three strawberry plants which I've had growing merrily in the planter for about 2 - 3 months now...all was going well, all three flowered and started producing berries...the first 3 or so fully ripened but since then, all the others have stopped growing completely!

Two of my plants are now completely floppy despite watering and feeding as I should be (1-2 inches daily, potash weekly), the third is still nice & proud but fruit has still stopped growing...so now I don't have any!!

I've thought about bugs but haven't noticed any of the usual signs etc, I've seen some small, flea-like bugs around the soil and base of the plant but they're around all three plants?

Please help, I've no idea what I'm doing wrong!!

Do you know what variety of berry you planted? Some are June-bearing (which could explain the drop in production) and others are ever-bearing (which I have found to bear heavily in June then less so through the summer).
I want to live in a world where the chicken can cross the road without its motives being questioned.

It says June/July, and with good weather (like now), could havw a second harvest in August/ Sept. I'll post the name whwn I get home.
