Last year I purchased a packet of annual seeds "beloved by butterflies and birds alike" which I have sown in the corner of my garden I am turning into a mini wildlife oasis.
So far I can say the labelling for once was not misleading.: butterflies and other insects love the flowers and in turn are attracting plenty of birds. I plan to cut the flowers in Fall and hang them upside down in a bunch for the birds to feed. We waste nothing here.
Anyway, there are three types of flowers that are not just very good at attracting wildlife but are also pretty decorative and I am thinking about buying those specific seeds next year. Problem is I have no clue what they are.
Here are the pictures:
This little fellow is about 2ft tall. I think it's a Big Smile miniature sunflower but I'd like confirmation.
These are both about 3ft tall. I have positely, absolutely no clue what they are but bumblebees and butterflies love them.
Thanks to anybody who'll be able to help!
