It is one of my very favorite semps, medium sized and just a nice amount of offsets. With the bonus of spectacular coloring in spring and summer, with a lovely cooling green in the fall. It does need fast draining soil in our very wet winter/spring season.
I grow it both in full sun and 1/2 day sun. Full sun brings out the most stunning coloring.
I see that the German semp site shows that it is in Europe, you might be able to find it.
