Thread OP

Beginning gardener here. I bought some nice gold Gazinias in pint sized pots. I potted 4 of these into a 6 quart pot. They fill the pot. I've never had these before, but after a week, they don't seem to be doing very well. Might they be too crowded like that or am I maybe overwatering (which is possible)?

Are they in a clay pot ? I can't tell for sure. Even plastic pots if roots are touching sides of pots will dry out way to fast and burn the roots. Repot in plastic or sealed clay pots one size larger refresh with good well draining soil will help protect roots from heat exposure from cooking sides of pot. Place in a shady spot until recovered from repotting . If the roots are root bound and sitting against the sides of the clay pots which can burn the roots. These flowers love full sun but the heat can rob the roots of water sent to the flowers if dried out for small lengths of time in this heat wave. UGH !
I’m so busy... “I don’t know if I found a rope or lost a horse.”
