All the leaves that were burnt in our heat wave are going from yellow/ browns to brown. Crinkly brown. Should I let nature take it's course an le the dry up. Or should I get out the snips and cut off the dead portions.

I just let Nature take its course. They do drop the leaves eventually anyways. I don't like to do trimming or pruning of any of my plants during summer time, it is just too stressful for them, especially here in my area where our summer conditions is just too hot and dry.

Ted, they will drop. I swept up a bunch this morning. They're saying it's going to get hot again this week, so I'm going to try to find some shade for the exposed ones.

Your choice Ted. Let them fall or spruce the growing area up by clipping.

Nice one Carol. Think I'll let nature take its course. One of the Draculas and two of the dens that were completely burned have show small new growth. Unreal.
