From what you wrote, I think this is what you said. That there is some probability that these seeds may mature and may also be viable because this happened before with other dips and tets that did not contain a parent that went through conversion.

The second cross indicates that the tet conversion parent is a grandparent. That it was converted does not have anything specific to do with the success or failure of the dip x tet cross. However, simply for being a grandparent it may have something to do with the failure or success of the cross as does any other daylily in the ancestry.
