Nice Marilyn; like the color also. Is it fragrant? Thumbs up

Very beautifully done Marilyn. That "custard" yellow matches the NGA logo perfectly and complimentary.

Thank you @Fleur569 for the acorn.

Thank you @crawgarden, @rocklady, @TBGDN, @tx_flower_child and @Fleur569 for all your nice comments and words.

Thank you @Fleur569, @krobra, @MargieNY, @pirl, @plantmanager, @rocklady, @TBGDN, @TexasPlumeria87, @tx_flower_child, @Whitebeard and @zuzu for the thumbsup.

You're right, it does look pretty good next to the NGA logo.

I grew it one year in 2010. It's suppose to be fragrant at night (according to the database info), but at time I didn't know and/or forgot and didn't get around to smell the flowers that year.

This was the pic that I made the banner from. I turned it around from right to left.

In 2010 and a couple of years before and after that year, High Country Gardens sold "container gardens". They had a few plants in each (their choosing) that were sent to be added to containers at your home in your own container. They sent a diagram (to show where each plant was suppose to go in a certain size container) and the plants. In 2010, I picked two sets, as shown in these pics. Both had the Night Blooming Jasmine (Cestrum 'Orange Peel') and Agastache mexicana Acapulco® Salmon & Pink , but different salvias and possibly other plants were in each set.

Here are some other pics that showed Night Blooming Jasmine (Cestrum 'Orange Peel') in one or both containers. These were all taken early June 2010. I'll check and see if I took some later that summer or in the fall that year.

I'm think that was the only year I got these container gardens from them. I'd forgotten about it til now.

These were taken mid June 2010. On some of my Night Blooming Jasmine (Cestrum 'Orange Peel') pics, you might see some white "wispy" stuff (as evidence in the first pic below). I'd grown a tropical Milkweed plant in a container close to them and that was from the seedpods.

Very nice. My plants, container or otherwise, should look even half as nice. I just keep saying, 'Well that was an interesting experiment. Maybe next time.'

So do you still have all of those pretty plants?

Pic from July 9, 2010. Look towards the garage door on the left and you'll see Night Blooming Jasmine (Cestrum 'Orange Peel') getting taller and bigger. The other container that had Night Blooming Jasmine (Cestrum 'Orange Peel') is in front of it and doesn't appear to be as big yet.

No, I don't tx_flower_child. I plant a lot of tender perennials (annuals).

This year, I still don't have all of my containers with flowers yet. After an unseasonably cold short spring, our area went into a long unseasonably hot spring and then a long (so far) hot unseasonably summer With my MS (Multiple Sclerosis), I can't get outside to get a lot of the containers from last year ready for any of this years plants. Recently, a couple of weeks ago, we had a few days that I could get some of the containers ready, amended and potted up with flowers. The hummingbirds I'm sure are missing all the flowers I plant for them, as we haven't seen that many of them this year, even though I've 6 hummingbird feeders out.

It's so hot here. It just came on all of a sudden. We're setting records every day. On the plus side, thinking about the heat got me to thinking about 'Heatwave' by Martha and the Vandellas. Found it on YouTube and started singing away, which led me to their great version of 'Dancing in the Street' and pretty soon I was dancing away! But I digress.

We've had a lot of 90+ heat waves days here, which is unusual for here and it's only July 21. Also with all the heat, humidity and mugginess, I can't get outside to take any pics yet for this year.

Never thought I'd say it but 90+ doesn't sound bad after a week of temps hovering around 108. The other day hit 110. Best I can do is get out of my jammies to feed the birds, keep water out for them, and splash some water at my container plants. Perennial beds will have to fend for themselves,

Thanks again for making such a cheery banner.

Thanks for the beautiful container pictures. I agree with the others above that it is just too hot to get outside for any length of time. With me, the loathsome chiggers are everywhere and the heat obviously doesn't bother them. We are going to NM on Thursday and obviously don't want to be scratching!

The jasmine should be fragrant. When we first moved to AR, I ordered a sweet shrub as its fragrance was something I remembered from my childhood, however, was very disappointed that mine had no fragrance. I did get some seed from my cousin last spring, which came from the old fashioned one she has.
