In my reading, which I admit is limited, and perusing the Semp DB, I see no reference to a preferred soil pH. I know various growing conditions such as, grown in the PNW, to New England, to here in the heartland, to the fiery furnaces of N.M. and Arizona, cold harsh winters, mild wet winters, etc. can result in coloration among other things. I was curious if any research has been done on the effects of differing pH might have.
Currently all of mine are slightly acid 6.8 to neutral 7.
