Callisia cordifolia is a native plant of Florida. It has a 3 petal white flower. Most of the pictures posted appear to be Callisia repens. Callisia cordifolia is nearly identical to the above form of Callisia repens, but the flowers are very different & the best characteristic for identification. There are very slight differences in leaf shape.

Hi. Thanks for your comment. In the multi-plant pics in the entry for that species (and C. repens,) I have put pics of both species adjacent to each other. There are other differences but the most obvious one I've observed is that C. repens does not bloom, at least not in a way that is big enough to be detected by my eyes.

There are many pics of C. cordifolia "out there" labeled as C. repens, which I understand because they are so similar, at least when not adjacent and not in bloom.
