Iced Champagne, has produced prolif's since I bought it in 2016. This particular scape has four prolif's and a bloom. For this plant this season (2018) I will have a total of 6.

I'm new to daylilies, so when do you cut off these extras and plant them?

Hi,
They say you can cut them off when the scapes turn brown. If they are green, the plant is still feeding the prolif. I plan to cut these off pretty soon. You can either put them in water to develop good roots or sow directly in the ground. I will probably put mine in water first. When I do I will add to this thread. Hopefully it will be successful. This plant has produced 7 prolifs for me this year.
