Sunday River does not look quite that red to me. My camera sees too MUCH red and drives me nuts . I use my picture editing program and try to make them look more natural.

My Sunny Valentine looks pretty red to me, it is gorgeous.

So Michele, I just have to ask -- Are those your plants, by any chance? And if so, does this mean you might put some fans on the LA at some point? And I guess the same question would apply to James too...

Dot, my camera has trouble picking up deep reds especially and some purples. It either lightens them up or makes them look sort of neon. My Sunny Valentine is actually a little darker to me in person.

Kim, I don't know how often it does that, I think James said its the first he's seen it do it; it's his plant .I meant to go look at the buds and see how many were poly. Looking at the photo, the big bud behind the bloom is a poly. I will look tomorrow and see.

Betty, not all are mine, most are James'. HH is mine and I'm sure if I divide it it will go on the LA. Curious Cutie is one of James' sale plants already. I'm not sure if it's sold already or not, I could ask. But I'm sure a lot of these will go on the LA in the fall.

Ooh, I really like LILLIAN'S STUFF AND SUCH! I love that barely visible eye -- so subtle and beautiful -- plus it's a subtle bicolor, which I also love, and the coloring is to die for -- and great edges too!

And Dot, I really like SUNDAY SANDALS too. Maryott's has it and I'm considering ordering it, although I have so many now and I still have seedlings to transplant into pots...

"Still have seedlings to pot" HMMMMMM I think that is a statement that would be true at anytime around my place. Even if I think I'm finished, I'm sure I'd find another one!! We can not stop buying just because we need to pot something, so go ahead, I bet you will love it. I know I love it.

Fred, Emma's Pink Pleasure is one that I would like to get a piece of. I have an Emma that lives with us and she'd be tickled Pink!!!

Nothing really to speak of today. It was nasty this morning and a little cool so things were either ugly from the rain or not fully opened. We weeded some of the beds and headed home because it started sprinkling and with 60% chance of rain we called it a day.

Ann, it took me at least 3-4 different days of trying to get a good photo of OCJ. It always has a good bloom, I just never could get my camera to get the right color and this is a close as I could get to it being right.
