My ficuses root really easy and make lovely baby trees. I have one that is 14 ft tall with a 3" diameter trunk that is just 3 years old. I have to be careful not to plant every cutting I take because they GROW!

I agree! I have a variegated one in the greenhouse that is almost 8ft high. I keep trimming it back, and root every piece. They root so quickly, so I'm always giving them away.
