My Pel sidoides is in bloom again for this 2014.. I got this one last year, and it is being overrun by my Pel crispum 'Prince Rupert'. Much as I want to trim down Prince Rupert, it is giving generous blooms this year.

Something I like with my Pels, it effectively repels the aphids..aphids seems to be a regular on my Tropical milkweed, but they don't go to the Pels at all. I like that!

Pel. crispum 'Prince Rupert' is starting to bloom once more; I trimmed this down a bit two weeks ago, hoping to make it look better after winter, but had to stop seeing there were some buds, will just have to wait much later to trim it further:
Glad to see Pel sidoides is still there, just quietly waiting for more consistent warmth.

Love that my Pels are both still in bloom..it is being joined by Ornithogalum dubium 'Orange Star' so pinks, reds and oranges in this side of my little garden
Pel crispum 'Prince Rupert' continues to bloom on and off:
Very pretty! Still waiting for warm enough weather here! I did repot the pels I overwintered in my basement, and there are signs of life, but a long way to go until I get blooms. We had a bit of snow this morning, so I'm hoping they'll survive that, should be upper 50's later in the day.
I just picked up a P. sidoides, I think they are so pretty. Mine from last year did make it through the winter in the basement, but I saw one at a nursery today, and decided I needed another!

I got no new geraniums or pelargoniums to show this 2016..but with our ongoing rain/cool combination..they show so differently..so much vibrancy and better colors on the leaves Thank you rains! When the old becomes something new:
Pelargonium tri-color
Pelargonium Pink Happy Thought..some leaves seemed to go all green losing its variegation, but some better variegations are coming now:
