Does anyone know the exact difference between the cultivars "Iceberg" and "Stardust"?

They appear identical while looking at photos.
Looking at dozen of seller the only thing I could find at a seller specified as a difference was that blooming time should not be identical, one earlier than the other.

Once has more uniform and larger flower head than the other, different leaf shape, different height but identical flower head sizes? Just trying to figure out what are the actual differences?

I already have 'Iceberg' .
I also have 'Sunkissed' which I highly suspect it is either 'Stardust' or 'Iceberg" as the flowers are white not yellowish like 'Sunkissed' should be, also it looks like a spectabile cultivar (they leaf color, flower heads), while I understand that 'Sunkissed' should be a telephium looking cultivar.

Yes, that is what I get from the article Connie. I found the gathering of information very interesting.

Yes it was! I noticed that it revealed many synonyms too. But maybe they are already known (referring to the database).

Hmmm, seems that we need some updating.

Yes, it looks like a number of them have been sold under different names.

Thanks for the article, Lynn.
Seems like the difference is only truly possible to tell in real life in a side by side comparison to truly see the difference in flower color and in how glaucous the leaves are.
This article also confirms that what I have received as 'Sunkissed' it is clearly not Sunkissed.

BTW, my so called 'Sunkissed', which is obviously 'Iceberg', out of 2 major stems and 2 minor stems, 1 of the major stems has reverted to a more wild color of spectabile, pink.

Both are lovely Milan. What is the growth habit like? Does it multi-branch? I really like the white flowers, but that pink is lovely. Somewhere in that article it said that some of them can do that color reversion.

I really like that pink too, much more than other light pink cultivars, I wonder if I can propagate that.
Yes, both Iceberg and Stardust supposedly revert to the wild spectabile color, which is pink.
From what I've seen so far no branching out for both the creamier and whiter plant variants.

These 2 plants seem to not be the same, but both are spectabile, they were sent to me as being Sunkissed (which has the telephium type of of flower shape and flower head, slightly greenish in color)
So I could say it is I have Iceberg and Stardust.

The weird part is I have ordered from another seller some Iceberg and they look identical to the cooler variant (the one with the pure white flowers and more darker leaves)
So now I should say that the 'Iceberg' I have from the other seller are actually 'Stardust' ?

That exact creamy specimen on the top side does not seem to do that well, seems some buds dried before opening.

It is hard to say Milan. There are so many difference hybrids out there, with many that can revert or send out sports.
I also like the white one the best.
