Welcome to the forum! Sorry I didn't see your replies before now- still not having a lot of time to be on here.
S Black and Blue and S Wendy's Wish are both hybrids, meaning even if they do produce seed, the seedlings likely will not come true to the parent plant. If you are able to get a plant of each, you can take and root cuttings to overwinter so you will have the plant the next year.
Most if not all the Salvias in my photos came from S Guaraniticas originally grown from seed which then reseeded themselves in my gardens. Some came from seed grown from S Envy (S Envy being a hybrid) that did the same. This year is my third with these "volunteers". I guess there is something about my gardens conducive to these.
