Merchant Marine has much the same shape as Adriatic Waves. I have had Slovic Prince for a while and I see some similarities to Bratislavian Prince, must be related.

Superstition Gardens carries B. Prince.

MERCHANT MARINE is one that I have and have always, always just loved. Can't remember if I have Adriatic Waves or not.

I feel fortunate that I've been able to garden in the strip between the sidewalk and street for over 20 years now and never had any flowers picked or plants damaged. Since I live on the walking route to two school, near a park, a hospital and a walking trail, that says something nice about Lincoln NE to me.

Baltic Sea is one of my favorite blues.

I like it with Swingtown which is a more red violet than it shows up here.

I lke the combination of Decadence, Cheap Thrills and Conspiracy.




Here is a shot of a backyard area that has a number of iris. It was smashed by a falling tree a few years ago and all the markers messed up;. I'm still trying to get all the Iris and lilies in the bed marked correctly again.
Pumpkin Cheese Cake and Champayne Waltz are not the best pair, but I enjoy both of them. The iris behind them looks like it may have gotten some roundup drift. Hope it makes it

Aruba, I remember you posting pics of your rows of irises, now here they are blooming. What a bunch of lovelies you have there, makes me drool.

Betty, What can I say, your pictures are the best ever. You have so many new ones that I wish would grow here. But, I have ordered some new (new to me) ones this year and wonder where they are going to go.

Dot Im about a week or a little more away from full bloom but they are coming on fast should be a good year if the storms dont beat us up to bad.

Boy those colors are vibrant Jo Ann! I know what you mean about waiting for them to open. I found my self walking back and forth waiting for Cat Call and Recless Abandon to open this morning, just like an expectant father, OMG Decided to go do some weeding instead, and they're still not open, Oh well, maybe tomorrow.
Aruba, I think you should make a ring of yellow, inside the red, then orange, blue, indego and violet for a round rainbow! They would all have to bloom at the same time though.

What is it with gardeners. I am doint the same thing and when there isnt much more opening I say I will wait 2 more days. Problem is there are some that seem to open overnight. Bluebeards Ghost is taking its sweet time.
