Hi guys,
I need to have some advice to photograph an orchid with a pendulous flower spike, do I need to hang the plant high up to get a complete image of the plant with the hanger with flower spike.
I need to take the photograph in a day or two.

What camera(s) do you own? Lenses? Suggestion: take the best picture you can right now and show us your plant. Without seeing the plant, it's structure and size it is difficult to suggest anything. Gene

I havea Canon 7D DSLR camera, a 100 mm Macro lens,27 to 70 mm Zoom lens and a 1.4 f prime lens.

Lets see some pictures. Stand far away and use the 100 macro at f/4 is my suggestion but I can fine tune that given more info (pix.) Gene
