Why don't the database data details show up in the database any more? Unless of course one wants to make an edit. I am finding the database so much more cumbersome to use. And where is all the other information? Now i have, I think, the name of the plant, maybe, some photos and a lot of irritating advertising.

I'm not sure what you're seeing - the database details still show up for me and nothing appears to have changed in the page layout. To help me understand the problem, can you please post a screenshot? Also, what device and browser are you using to view the website?

Nothing has changed with the database. If you see a blank page with just the plant name in an entry, it just means no one has added any of the details. All info is added by members or admin. and we are all volunteers with busy lives. Any member is free to help out by adding details.

If you are seeing ads, you only need to add 5 more contributions to the database (for a total of 100) and you can then go to your profile page and in the settings, you will see an option to turn off ads.

Okay thank you for the info. It appears i did not go through the process of review and post so i re-entered all the database info i have at this time. I have a lot of guesses about things that are not verifiable that i have most certainly left out and can fill in at a later time.

I copy and pasted the comments re this tree that i do know and this now appears on the database page. So, that was successful.

Does the database info take awhile before it shows up on the database page? The last time i checked, it had still not been posted to the page.

Yes a moderator will review your edit before it appears on the database page for the plant.

No the details are still not showing up and have been erased. Do i need to select Add a Plant first? before editing details? I am using firefox
