Thank you Tiffany, that is what I was thinking. I had one and lost it to a freeze, found this on clearance at Lowe's, just a half dead plant, but it has bounced back nicely. Thumbs up

My pleasure. Smiling No hope of Coleus surviving outside where I am. Must bring plants or cuttings inside to keep the same ones. Most years I don't see a Coleus I want in stores, (rural area,) so saving the good ones is crucial to having them around at all.

Absolutely, they freeze here too most winters, I usually take cuttings of my favorites before a freeze, but was off guard this year since my mom passed right before we got zapped by 28 degrees for a couple nights. This one is a nice one and glad I found it again. Lovey dubby

So sorry about your loss.

If I saw that one, I'd get it too!

I think it looks a lot like my coleosaurus.

I have grown coleus from seed 2 times. The first time they grew o.k. so I thought the second time they would to. What I would like to know is, these new ones i grew all start out with huge leaves, i measured one at 8". However when I pinched it to make it branch it came back with the top changing to another color and also smaller leaves. Is this normal? The first picture is one changing and the second picture is when I pinched off the top of one and it is still growing with the new color. Any advice would be appreciated.

Looking like it needs more light in your 2nd photo .. going to need some shade if you put it outside that way.. may burn quickly
