I uploaded a bunch of images to the database yesterday and noticed that one of them came out stretched. The preview is fine but if you click to the full size image on this page ("More photo details") it's funky:

but something about the full-size layout on the database page for the image is causing it to be stretched horizontally. This is the first time I've encountered something like this.

Any ideas?

I see what you mean. When I click on the photo in the database entry, it looks weird, as if it's enlarging horizontally instead of vertically.

The full-size image looks fine here. Interestingly, the thumbnail in this thread looks right, but on the database page it's rotated.

My guess is that the image has been rotated by one of the admins and the provider cache is causing issues (it has done this with other rotated images before). It may take a few days to correct itself.

I rotated it as it looked sideways to me, the sky being on the left side only. It won't show the rotation for a while though as Dave told me recently when I asked about reversing the banners that the "service we are using caches images for a long time, like several days. So a flip was successful but the website will continue to show the old one for quite some time."

OK, I understand. Thank you. The image was in the correct orientation. The agave was falling down the face of a sharp slope that was eroding underneath it, and trying to turn toward the light at the bottom. I realize now that was not obvious, so I added a caption. But lesson learned about caches and delays after reorienting images.

Ok so please keep track of it as it most likely will show it flipped incorrectly within a few days, you'll have to refresh it, and I'll rotate it back. I'll keep checking too.
