We had someone with a script hitting thousands of pages of the site all at the same time this morning. It slowed the site down so much that it stopped responding to some requests. I have blocked the IPs of the attacker and hopefully that solves the problem.

Thank You! Dave. I was getting an error message earlier.

I must have missed it all. Yesterday was a busy day out and about. Glad everything is resolved.

Yesterday, I would guess late last night, I was doing something or other on NGA when suddenly my screen went blank and then popped up with a dire warning. Basically it said that this was an unsafe site and someone might be trying to steal my identity (not an exact quote). It continued to ask if I wanted to proceed at my own risk, run away, or view the outdated certificate. I opted for door #3. It showed that the certificate expired on 10/31. Then, before I could do anything, the screen cleared and said the site was valid.

This is the 2nd time this has happened. I'll try to think fast and make some screen prints if it happens again. I don't know if Safari is being overprotective or if there's a prankster having fun. Just thought I'd mention it.
