Thread OP

Hello all,

I live in Michigan and have a large plumeria that I need to trim back because I can no longer get it to my winter storage room, see attached. I'm going to remove it from the pot, my problem is I can't get it through 2 doorways to my storage room because of the span of the branches. I would like to trim it but still keep the main trunk viable but I don't want to take all the branches off. The main trunk splits into 3 and then each one of those break off into 2 or more and so on, so I can't really remove just 1 or 2, it would like d the power company got to it. I would plant any cuttings for new plants. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

Is your Plumeria not _Flexible enough to back it in root first?

I assume you're planning on keeping it bare root during it's dormancy, so laying it down is not an option?

Once you remove all the leaves it should be easy.

I have the same dilemma this year but mine is 12 ft or more tall. Not sure how I'm going to overwinter my 26 year old tree?
