Growing up I thought there was just one kind of sunflower, those huge ones. Although seeing them made me happy, I love knowing and learning about the various varieties, some right here growing wild around my home. Thank you for this pic I've never seen before. Lovely.

I'm so glad you like the pic. I love sunflowers and each I grow a different variety. There is a sun fill purple sunflower that I grew this year as well and I didn't think it was near as pretty as the green one. There are so many varieties out there that are just beautiful.
