I like the idea of thread specific to a subject (thanks @HemNorth for the cloud thread). I thought we might do the same for frosty photos. Here's a couple of mine, mostly garden related.

I've always liked the term 'hoar frost' - sounds somewhat sinister to me. A few more:

gardengus, (or Cinda), when I enlarged the 2nd photo I was startled at the detail of the beautiful frost patterns at the edges of the rose leaves. Very stunning - thanks for posting.
