But it is identified to be of garden origin. So to be identified as a var. huachucensis seems oddly specific and while it looks like it, the only place where I see J. C. Raulston referred to as var. huachucensis is here. I have to suspect that is wrong.
Here is the Plant Delights Nursery write, only mentioning Agave parryi and a garden origin.

So two things here:
1. I agree that it should be listed as Agave parryi 'J. C. Raulston', since it is identified as such.
2. However, I would object to it being listed as Agave parryi var. huachucensis 'J. C. Raulston' unless someone comes up with some clear evidence that it is actually that specific clone - this is possible given that the Huachuca Mountains get pretty cold (though maybe not super wet) in winter. However, there are plenty of Agave parryi var. parryi specimens that look very much like the plant in question here. You have to have pretty specific location data to be sure it was Agave parryi var. huachucensis as I am pretty sure parryi var. parryi grades into parryi var. huachucensis. Just an 'oh it looks just like that observation' is not enough for a proper ID and given that PDN who marketed and named the clone simply list it as Agave parryi, it seems a stretch to add var huachucensis to it without further information.
