Saying I have been hunting deer for 58 years and never need a game camera to know what roamed on and off our property.

Finally I broke down and let her buy one for me to set up and hang some place.
First place I tried was right in our yard over looking a row of several different kinds of Pines.











I found I enjoy seeing the pictures and it isn't always deer.

Yes, trail cameras can be fun. And the quality keeps getting better. Hope you have a lot of property to experiment with. Around here, people will steal them if they can.

I've been toying with the idea myself. Any suggestions of a reasonably priced trail camera? What is involved in setting one up?

My brother just bought a pair of Tascos at Walmart on sale for 28.00 each.

Figure in the cost of about 8 AA batteries and a SD card or two about 32GB

Now I think is a good time to find them on sale as stores are clearing them out for summer products and new models later in the summer.

Less than a hundred bucks is good for me. I hadn't factored in the batteries and card. I have a couple of card kicking around from cameras - are they the same? Little black rectangle things with SD on them and a notch in the corner. You can tell I'm a techno-wizard...

Yes standard SD cards I keep two. I will go remove one and insert a new one in at that time so I have a card in when I am uploading the pictures off the other.

Stupid coons and pussoms have to be messing with the bee hives.

Not going to trap them then move them to become some one elses problem . Is a $200.00 fine to get caught letting them go on public land.
So I feed them to other critters in the area.
