I thought it might be, but was not sure because all the photos I saw seemed like the leaves were thick and mine are small and kinda delicate. The fragrance is like a perfume, so this would not be something I would use for cooking. I'm not even sure how it ended up in my container, but its pretty! It is spilling over and I love how full its getting, its a nice edition to my newly forming container garden.
