Wow, that is so pretty. Well done both on taking the original picture (care to share it?) and on creating such a beautiful banner. Thumbs up

So pretty. But now you've sent me on a mission as they have me scratching my head. Now it's time to figure out the difference between Allium bulgaricum and Nectaroscordum siculum which I have and they do seem to be the same plant.

Perhaps it's another plant synonym to confuse us? I'm looking them up.

Thanks for the fun, Fleur. And another great one! Smiling

Good detecting , @Whitebeard. Just having checked it out, and it does seem to be an interchangeable name for one and the same. If you find out more distinguishing differences, it would interesting to know. Thumbs up

I'm not sure there is a discernible difference that is easily uncovered, at least by this one. White Flower Farm has "Allium bulgaricum...also known as Nectaroscordum siculum var. bulgaricum." Here we seem to list it as "Allium siculum." Curious stuff. Perhaps a grower can add more insight. My guess is that the bulgaricum indicates the cultivar originated from Belgium rather than Bulgaria, both of which can be sources of "bulgaricum." For me, bulbs seem to have more to do with Belgium more than Bavaria. Yet if it comes to beer, I do prefer Bavaria. Smiling
