Yes, mine that I moved inside are dropping their leaves one by one. I can't wait for Spring so I can put them outside to grow again.

I'm going withdrawal myself and it only began in my world in Oct (too late in the season). So I haven't even had my first fix yet! Sighing! lol

Fortunately our *winter* in Florida only lasts a few months. By the end of February we will see the tips start to glisten, indicating they are waking up!!
Here is a bloom picture to hold you over

Thanks, Hetty. I love that one. Mine don't wake up until about April.

Mine got attacked by aphids! That makes me especially sad because they were safe in the greenhouse and maintaining well. That was the best I could do for them. But it looks like they will recover. Everything else is dormant in the garage.

Cheryl, mine is fighting mealy bugs and aphids, in the house! I think I've gotten the best of them, but I can't wait to get them back outside. I don't have the bug problems outside, but it never fails in the house or greenhouse.

I drenched my "sticks" with Safer insecticide the day I brought them inside & followed up a week later (just in case). so far no bugs.

My two plumies are still staying outdoors. I used to bring them in, but I really lack space this time. So far overnight temps hovering in the 35F to 45F range and we still get 55F to 60F daytime high. Has been dropping leaves as expected but otherwise trunk staying firm. We are getting intermittent rains this time, a bit dicey but as long as temps do not go to the 20F, I think they will endure it. But just in case if there is such frosty forecast sometime in January, I may try to cover them up with burlap, but for now just letting them cold harden outdoors.

That is the sunniest corner of my garden, and with the city trees going deciduous too, more light and warmth will hopefully be given to my Plumies during daytime.

Wow, I didn't know they could go that cold and be ok. It's good to know. We are down to about 25 at night now, so mine have to stay inside.

Hi Karen, one of them is Plumeria Celadine, and I have read it has somewhat higher cold tolerance. The other one is a noid white one, which seems to handle the cold season well too.

20's and damp is death in my experience.... even 30's and damp will encourage black tip rot.

We all need to move to Hawaii, I think to keep our plumeria winter habits alive. Thumbs up

Believe me, I've thought about that very often. What stops me is that I'd like our whole family to move there. It would be too hard to see each other otherwise. Living there is also extremely expensive unless you live like a native. Shipping your household goods there is very expensive. It would be better to sell everything and buy new when you get there.
