Wow - Thanks so much for posting this, Fred -- I had no idea they would be posting their 2019's so early, especially since they just recently posted their 2018's. Love HERE'S TO YOU BILL ROBINSON -- but $300 is just too rich for me these days...

Are you planning to get any of them?
Betty

I am drawn to Elizabeth's small flowered patterns. Here's to you Bill Robinson reminds me of the pattern a Pansy might have. And that's a good thing since Pansies don't bloom in the summer here.......Thanks for the notification about the intros. Always like window shopping this time of the year......Maryl

Just the one that's too rich for me also Betty. It's been difficult for me to find good evergreen or simi-evergreen pattern dips since I made the decision not to buy any more Tets.

First I would like to say it's a lot easier to start something that you really enjoy than to stop doing it, but at my age at 76 I had to make some tough decisions, in order to keep enjoying what I love to do. I realized several years that the day was coming that I couldn't keep doing the amount of hybridizing I was doing, just to much work involved maintaining several thousand seedlings the way they should be maintained.
Dips have always been my real passion and I have had better results doing dips, I never really gave tets the amount of thought that I have given the dips. I have done some good tets and planted a few tet seedlings this year, but this is the last of them. I still have a few tets I will register in the next couple of years, so as I said its a lot easier to start something than quit, it's a slow process.
I'm not planning on going any where but in a nutshell I am feeling my age and know what my limits will be with each passing year.

Boy do I ever understand, Fred! Every year now I think this might be my "last hurrah" at binge buying daylilies, so I always overdo. But then the next year's beauties get posted, and away I go... No self control here! D'Oh! But I love having a terrific hobby that really keeps me going -- and moving -- year-round.

I've managed to order four of the five new patterned dips from the Lambertsons, and Rachel is including the fifth as a gift plant -- what a terrific gal she is! I just couldn't pass up those beauties. Are you getting any of the new ones from the Lambertsons, Fred? Somehow when I first saw them I thought of you!

I think I'm up to 60 purchases now for spring, so I'm really winding down. I still want to see what Patrick Guidry is going to offer, but as of last night he still hadn't updated his website yet...
