Salvia and Crocosmia in late June

I LOVE this Marilyn!! I have always loved light blue with red. Wonderful color combination and wonderful textures!

Crocosmia are a favorite, though I don't manage to keep them alive very long.

I had Crocosmia 'Lucifer' in my front yard and back yard at the time and some years after that, but nothing now in either place for years. Need to get a spot to plant it in the ground. Beautiful and attracts hummingbirds!

The Salvia 'Blue Angel' is an annual (tender perennial), so it died with the frost/freeze of 2006 and any year I planted it. They were planted in containers. I loved the two colors together and I had them in front yard. Here's the full size pic.

I don't remember the daylilies in the pic, but the purple flowers are Verbena bonariensis (reseeds), which I still have growing in different places in my flowerbeds, but not as much as was in this pic and 2006.
