I bought this bulb locally 2 month ago, only at home I noticed it that it has partially rotten on the bottom. I removed most of the rotten , and planted into the grown. 2 month I seed no change, only bulb become more brown from outside, and all green leaves has died. Recently I found that there are few roots on the bottom (pot is transparent) , and new leave is popping up from the middle. Bulb is hard on the feel (at least on top that I can touch), and roots are coming only from the part that still green.

Do you think bulb can survive, it it is just trying to leave it last few days/weeks ?

You have new growth, the bulb is firm and you have new roots. Sounds like it will survive and grow.

You did everything that you could to ensure its survival. It may do just fine.

I expect the rotted part might heal itself. I would just be careful not to let the soil stay wet for too long - let it dry out between waterings. Green leaves and roots are a good sign.
