Thank you Jo Ann and holly, We also used railroad ties in 2 areas to get the height we needed ,then I built on top of those on the west side,used them on the east side also.

Back then field stone was Cheap,we paid $180.00 for 32 ton...its $100.00 a ton now ,and more for boulders. I got a lot of boulders in our last load,the guy thought it was funny...We were thrilled...We rolled and flopped the boulders down the hill a little at a time, untill we got them all in place.... Thumbs up
