I do really appreciate your comment as it made me better understand why people would view this subject very differently. It's natural that when viewing photos you look for different things. Personally I do tend to look at composition first and I especially appreciate when the photographer manages to take an image of a common subject that I seen a hundred times before and still make it stand out of the crowd.
