Celebrating Gardening: 2015 Plant Identifier
I used to be on a mission to collect Campanulas and Heucheras. Some Campanulas would survive, others not. Some of the survivors (the newer ones) tended to take over and had to be edited. I did plant C. rapunculoides, not knowing that it's one of the worst thugs in the plant world and it will forever (unfortunately) be a part of my garden. Heucheras - I learned that the parents are critical to surviving hot summers but gave up on them due to their prices. Now I make due with a few survivors and the variable 'Palace Purple' seedlings.
