Thanks Susie!! Yes I do enjoy it tremendously!!!! The tree in the last picture is a holly tree that was loaded with berries. The birds have a field day eating all the berries.
PSA the tree you inquired about is 2 silver dollar eucalyptus that I bought from one of those mail order magazines about 20 years ago and they were a 2" plug when they arrived. I raised them in pots for years and it looked like a small bush at the time that they were planted there. I had successfully connected them together but Hurricane Katrina broke off the connecting branches so I am starting that process over. You probably didn't recognize them b/c they are normally 40' tall and fairly straight. They are planted in a rock flower bed retainer wall to the pond that is maybe a 1 1/2' wide and about 2' deep so the roots are retrained and I have to whack on it constantly. A friend told me I had bonsai them which is probably true but I had done all this before I knew any better and it was entirely a beginner mistake. I tried for 12 yrs to do cuttings and root them to no avail and then discovered that eucalyptus will not root from a cutting. Live and learn!!! LOL!!!
Here is a link to some more pictures of the back yard if Yall are interested.
