My Sekkan Sugi cryptomeria is in a protected spot, so it won't need to be sprayed. Isn't it amazing how fast these things grow? Blinking Mine's already over 7 feet tall, and I've only had it 2 or 3 years. I had no idea it was such a fast grower!

Terri, sorry to hear about your mountain laurel! I was bummed when mine died this summer. They have such pretty flowers, I'm determined to try it again this year.

What I really need to do is disinfect and oil my garden tools, especially my favorite pruners. My lawn doesn't need mowing, but I should really ask DH to run over the backyard with the lawnmower to pic up the ash leaves.
