I must say I am not convinced about that Ken. I have a lot of houseplants. Even some orchids. They all do fine. The orchids are blooming all year long. I give them some tlc, organic fertilizer and some seaweed fertilizer now and than. Also ofcourse fresh medium When they need it, and i ventilate the room every day.
