Carolyn you wouldn't if you had to cut all this grass. My front yard is 200' from the road and we cut not only our grass but my sister's and my cousin that lives next door. Then the back is unreal. So after raising 3 kids and them using my backyard for football, baseball, soccer and cheerleading practice they grew up and the last one left home so it became mine. LOL!!! My friends all thought I had lost my mind b/c none of them care anything about gardening other than maybe vegetables. Then we had to consider the elevation where I live is around 11' above sea level and there are no rocks in La. that big. I did all of this in 1998 before the internet became so availabe. I also did it before I became a Master Gardener. Then I learned that most of what I have done is wrong. Starting with I had never done a soil test.
